Amy Weiss, LCSW

Amy T. Weiss is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing in Missoula, MT. She has received intensive training in DBT from the Linehan Institute and runs the Missoula Comprehensive DBT program’s study group for clinicians desiring to learn more about the DBT model. Amy specializes in treating trauma utilizing Cognitive Processing Therapy, EMDR, and Prolonged Exposure. Population specialties include adolescents, young adults, LGTBQI individuals, Veterans and Veteran families, and individuals who have experienced TBI. Amy has received extensive training in the Emotionally Focused Therapy model for treating couples and brings an attachment-focused, relational approach to her work.
Renee McGrath is a Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate working in private practice at Realization Therapy, PLLC under the supervision of Alison Cobb, and has been involved with the Missoula DBT Collaborative since its inception. She completed Foundational DBT training through the Linehan Institute and currently leads DBT Graduate Groups for clients who have completed skills training. Her areas of interest include personal growth, self-compassion, spirituality, life transitions, grief and loss, interpersonal communication, anxiety and depression. She takes a holistic and evidence-based approach to mental health by combining healthy habit formation and mindfulness techniques with existential, cognitive behavioral, and dialectical behavioral therapy.
Kali Neumeister began her counseling training in 2014 as an intern in addiction counseling and since graduating from the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master’s Program at the University of Montana in 2015, she has been working from an integrated approach to mental health and addiction in individual and group counseling as a licensed clinical professional counselor and a licensed addiction counselor (LCPC, LAC). She has also been a part of the Missoula Comprehensive DBT program since its origin in November, 2019 and has been reading materials and working on continuing education in DBT in more depth since May, 2019.

Kimberly McDonald-Markuson is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missoula, MT. She has a diverse background in Tribal and non-profit social work settings and specializes in the treatment of trauma using a strength-based, person-centered approach. She is trained in EMDR, DBT, and the Trauma Resiliency Model. Her areas of specialty include the treatment of grief and loss issues, death of a loved one including survivors of suicide, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and has also worked extensively with survivors of sexual and domestic assault/violence.

Annie Florin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Missoula, Montana. She is receiving DBT Foundational training through the Linehan Institute and has experience providing DBT skills groups to adolescents in an acute setting. Annie has a long background in working with children and families, including children’s day treatment in San Francisco working with a diverse population of young clients, Title 1 schools in Missoula providing psychotherapy, crisis interventions, and behavioral modification, as well as working at St. Patrick’s Hospital on the Adolescent Psychiatric Inpatient Unit. Annie’s approach to therapy integrates attachment, emotional experiencing and understanding, behavioral change, while centered around each client’s inherent strengths and self-determined goals. Annie is currently working with adolescents ages 14 and older, as well as adults.
